An exciting opportunity to join a leading Storage consultancy organisation – to provide backline support to their managed services clients. The business and the team is growing fast, hence we have an urgent need for a Senior Storage Support consultant who can troubleshoot technical issues and architect solutions but at the same time act as a team leader and mentor more junior team members. Your will have a pivotal role in the managed services division where you will be involved in architecting Managed Service solutions and own the designs, manage the support team as well as acting as a point of escalation for technical issues ( 3rd line support). This is a challenging, interesting role which is definitely much more than support.
Technically you should have solid Storage skills ( SAN, NAS ) – ideally with NetApps but any other storage is also of interest i.e. HDS, EMC, Storagetek, Veritas, HP, IBM. The environment is cross platform Windows, Unix, Linux and VMware. Experience of with either Veritas NetBackup or CommVault is of interest – and if you have ITIL certification so much the better.

Key skills – Strong Storage expertise, ideally with Netapps ( Network Appliances) but any other main storage products would be of interest – HDS, EMC, Veritas, Storagetek etc You should have good storage administration skills and ideally have done some architecting or design work as well.
