Key skills – commercial support experience in UNIX, Windows, Linux or WMWare environment. Backup or Storage skills would be beneficial.
An exciting opportunity to join a leading Storage consultancy to support their managed services clients in the UK. The business is booming and the team is growing fast, hence we have an urgent need for Support engineers. The team is able to take people with a range of experience- from graduates who have a years work experience providing infrastructure support in an enterprise environment to existing storage or systems administrators with proven support experience. This is a classic support role where you will be troubleshooting technical issues – mostly related to storage and backup systems.
Technically you must have solid skills in at least one of the following - Windows, Unix, Linux or VMware and of course specific storage skills are of great interest eg SAN, NAS, Tape, RAID, SCSi, Veritas, HDS, EMC, Storagetek, Veritas, HP, IBM, Quantum, CommVault, NetApp etc.
The company is stable, profitable and growing fast so there are also good career prospects. This role is based in East Midlands – Derbyshire and is an in-house role. There is a shift pattern on this role and working hours are b/w 7am to 7pm.
