IT Support / Help Desk Analyst – Surrey | IT Recruitment

This is a great Support opportunity with a major Vendor of complex software for a professional Help Desk Support consultant who is looking to join a professional EMEA support team in Surrey. You will provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution for the internal clients – these are both UK and European users. The company have won numerous awards and are recognized as leaders in their field. Their market share is rapidly expanding - hence their need to increase the size of their support organisation. This is a permanent role – based in Surrey in 2 different office locations.

You will be joining a team of technical experts offering troubleshooting advice - providing support / training (guiding users through step-by-step solutions) for all the internal users. You will identify and qualify problems and seek to resolve them where ever possible, escalate the unresolved issues for more senior engineers accordingly. This is a varied and challenging role with great training and career prospects.

You must have previous Help Desk support experience – technically you should have a strong skills in MS Office and Outlook and Networking – ideally you will also have some exp in Telephony (IP), AD ( Active Directory), Windows server and exchange. This is a classic Help Desk role where you will be dealing with various queries – so you have to be someone who enjoys support, and be efficient in user-friendly and professional manner.

KEY SKILLS – Previous internal IT / Help Desk support experience. Excellent skills in MS Office and Outlook, Windows & Networking are also required (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WiFi). German language skills are desirable
