As an Application Support Engineer you will be supporting BI / Big Data applications that are based on a wide range of technologies including Unix / Linux, Microsoft platforms, various databases ie Oracle, SQL Server and/or DB2, Web Applications Servers JBoss, WebLogic, etc. This is all B2B support, dealing mainly with European enterprise companies hence fluency in one of the following languages Spanish, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Portuguese is a must. The issues you’ll be tackling will encompass connectivity issues, installation, configuration, implementation, deployment, DevOps environment, Linux/Unix OS, RDBMA, web application servers, networking – You will be given lots of different technical problems across a wide range of technologies and you will have lots of challenges to overcome!
